How are the interviews for the Myniceroom rooms?

Myniceroom interviews have an average duration of 15 min and do not require any type of prior preparation. This is an informal conversation with the aim of finding out the habits and interests of the future tenant, as well as making sure to explain in detail the rules of coexistence of the flat and to answer any questions the tenant may have.

We give the tenant a response within 24h.

What is the difference between exclusive and non-exclusive rooms?

The exclusive rooms are those in which the management is 100% made by Myniceroom and can be found on online platforms.

The non-exclusive rooms are those in which Myniceroom has an agreement with the owner to guarantee our high quality standards regarding the state of the flat and the coexistence within it, but part of the management depends directly on the owner.

How can I arrange a visit to a room?

We make it as easy as possible for you. You can make both virtual and in person visits. To make in person visits, the flat must be empty without tenants to ensure that we do not bother them.

What is an owner's commitment to quality?

It is a document that the owner signs with us committing to meet quality standards regarding the apartment. In case of need, with this document we can ask the owner to solve a lack of the apartment or the living room and help you make your stay more comfortable.

What is the duration of the contract?

All contracts are for full months regardless of the arrival or departure date. The minimum duration will depend on each room.

Can I terminate the contract sooner?

Most of our contracts have early exit clauses, either with a penalty in the amount of the deposit, or by paying a lesser amount and finding a replacement to finish the period of your pending contract. For this option, you must have our approval first. Ask your manager for more information about the early departure clause of the room you would like to reserve.

How do I pay the rent?

You can pay the rent in the way that is most comfortable for you. Check all the current payment methods that we have available with your manager.

What do I do after booking?

We will contact you to set a check-in date, explain everything you need to know for your arrival, and help you with whatever you need.

What is the check-in process like?

A few days before your arrival we will contact you to confirm your arrival time and the address of your new home. We will be waiting for you to give you the key, show you the flat and introduce you to your flatmates.

How is the check out process?

To check it, it is very simple. We will contact you in advance, and we will indicate everything you have to do to correctly deliver your room and common areas in the same state in which they were given to you. You can leave whenever you want, the person in charge of the check outs will go to the apartment and check that all the indications have been complied with.

When will I get my deposit back?

The return of the deposit will be made within a maximum period of 30 days. Although we usually take less.

What should I expect from the flat and from my room?

All the shared apartments that we rent are fully equipped with kitchen and cleaning utensils. In the bedrooms you will find everything you need for a good rest and study. In addition, you can check in advance if the room you want to rent includes a set of bedding.

What services are included in the expenses?

The price of the expenses includes electricity, gas, water, internet, and the weekly cleaning cost (in flats where it’s included.)
The monthly expenses are calculated based on an annual average of previous expenses of the flat. At check-out, an exact calculation of consumption will be made and if you exceeded it, you will have to pay the difference. That is why it’s good to make a conscious use of supplies.

Is there extra security in the flat?

Yes, in most 21-26 shared flats there is a security camera at the access door to the apartment that helps to increase security inside the flat. This device is in a visible area and complies with current regulations.

What do I do if there is an incident in the flat?

In flats where incident management is included, you will only have to notify your manager or emergency maintenance person. They will take care of giving you a solution. Otherwise, contact your owner or contact person directly.

Is maintenance included?

Depending on the type of agreement, if something in the flat does not work, there will be a maintenance person available to solve it in the shortest possible time. However, if the problems are derived from voluntary or involuntary misuse, it will be the tenant who must bear the cost.

How does the included cleaning service?

The apartments that have cleaning included will have a cleaning person who will come once a week and do a thorough cleaning of the common areas. Despite this, it will be necessary to maintain a complementary cleaning schedule between all the flatmates in order to keep the flat in good condition.
